Logistics Supervisor

Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Integrated Logistics Operations Supervisor to manage daily logistics tasks and guarantee smooth, end-to-end supply chain processes. This role involves coordinating warehousing, freight transportation, customs procedures, and supplier relations while leading the operations team to achieve operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete logistics operations for customers including inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating transportation, customs clearance, documentation, and shipment monitoring.
• Supervise warehouse activities, plan transportation logistics, and optimize the overall logistics network.
• Create, enforce, and update operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) and customer-specific logistics requirements.
• Assist with warehouse and supply chain planning for new business ventures.
• Track project profitability (P&L) and ensure high operational efficiency.
• Develop strong partnerships with suppliers, warehouses, transportation firms, and other business collaborators.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and third parties to enhance efficiency and reduce logistics expenses.
• Manage supplier cost reviews, maintain accurate system records, and coordinate payment workflows.
• Regularly assess supplier performance and implement plans for service improvements.
• Manage and update customer master data and operational logistics information.
• Respond swiftly to customer queries and operational issues, handle complaints professionally, and collaborate internally to ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead and organize the daily activities of the logistics operations team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and support team development.
• Promote interdepartmental collaboration for seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain operational management.
• Comprehensive understanding of integrated logistics and warehouse management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and with external partners efficiently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, capable of performing effectively under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-driven, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Fluency in Chinese, German, and English, both spoken and written.
