Logistics Executive

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a proactive Logistics Executive responsible for overseeing all phases of domestic and export logistics operations. The candidate will be involved in transportation planning, freight coordination, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to facilitate timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee management of domestic and export transportation, organize dispatch schedules, monitor shipment status, and guarantee on-time delivery to customers.
• Facilitate collaboration with production, merchandising, warehouse, transport partners, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and dispatch of shipments.
• Negotiate freight charges, optimize transportation expenditures, audit transporter billing, and manage payment coordination alongside accounts.
• Promptly address and resolve any transportation or shipment issues to minimize delays and maintain uninterrupted logistics operations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Holder of a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related discipline, with four to five years of relevant experience handling both domestic and export logistics.
• In-depth understanding of international shipping protocols, GST regulations, E Way Bills, and effective collaboration with Customs House Agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistical partners.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills to manage numerous shipments within tight timeframes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience using ERP or Tally software systems.
