Role Overview

We seek experienced linguists skilled in language technologies and AI data initiatives. Candidates should have practical expertise in designing linguistic rubrics, annotation classifications, and quality assurance guidelines. This role involves close collaboration with clients to conceptualize and enhance annotation frameworks for AI projects covering multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities

Create and assess linguistic rubrics, taxonomies, and annotation protocols.
Work alongside clients and internal teams to develop project-specific linguistic standards and documentation.
Perform linguistic evaluations, quality control, and error assessments to uphold high-quality results.
Engage in projects related to automatic speech recognition (ASR), text-to-speech (TTS), transcription, speech annotation, and natural language processing (NLP).
Offer linguistic insights to boost annotation accuracy and AI model effectiveness.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Possession of a Master’s or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or allied disciplines.
Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi and strong command of English communication.
At least three years’ experience in AI language data, linguistic annotation, localization, or speech technology projects.
Demonstrable skills in developing annotation guidelines, rubrics, taxonomy structures, and frameworks ensuring linguistic quality.
Experience collaborating directly with clients on linguistic documentation and guideline formulation.
Comprehensive knowledge of ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP project workflows.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or AI-related data annotation projects.
Strong analytical abilities along with effective documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
