About the Role

This position is for a fleet-focused driver who values customer service, works well in a team, and is looking to grow within an established logistics environment. The role is part of a recognized fleet division that has been acknowledged multiple times as a top employer in the trucking industry.

Responsibilities

Move merchandise from the distribution centre to retail locations.
Shunt trailers around the yard when required.
Inspect the truck and trailer to confirm they meet legal and safety standards.
Record and refresh delivery progress/status information.
Carry out minor truck maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record.
High school diploma.
At least 1 year of work experience relevant to the role.
Strong customer service approach and the ability to represent the company professionally.
Good problem-solving ability, including knowing when to escalate issues to the appropriate person.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work based on operational needs.
Experience driving a 5-ton truck.
