Leading Hand - Service Crew at Bellevue Gold Mine

About the Role

Barminco seeks motivated and experienced Leading Hand Service Crew members to join the Bellevue Gold Mine project on a full-time basis. Positions operate on a 7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster. These roles are critical to supporting safe, efficient, and productive underground mining, contributing to the ongoing growth of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the underground service crew throughout daily operations.
• Manage services such as ventilation, dewatering, air and water supply, and general mine service tasks.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols, permits, and mining standards.
• Distribute assignments, monitor workmanship quality, and mentor team members on site.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and site hazard assessments.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, and production teams to align with operational goals.
• Observe equipment condition, report faults, incidents, or delays promptly.
• Maintain thorough records and uphold compliance with all site procedures and policies.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in a mining service crew role, preferably with prior Leading Hand responsibilities.
• Possession of a current Working at Heights certification.
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of underground mining operations and safety regulations.
• Eligibility to meet site access standards including medical clearance, drug and alcohol screening, National Police Clearance, and a valid manual driver's license.
