Job Overview

ArraTipp is seeking a Laboratory Technician specialized in Routine Microbiology for a fixed term position based in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland within the Food Ingredients business unit. The role reports directly to the Senior Microbiologist and involves performing microbiological testing, sample collection, and laboratory maintenance to support food safety and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect samples from production plants for microbiological analysis.
  • Conduct timely and accurate testing in the microbiology laboratory.
  • Ensure correct completion of all documentation in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Identify and report any issues, following up to resolution with appropriate management.
  • Assist investigation and project teams in resolving quality-related problems.
  • Support compliance with internal and external standards such as BRC and HACCP.
  • Maintain high standards of laboratory cleanliness and organization.
