Job description
Position Overview
The Kids Club Attendant operates as a vital team member within recreation services, providing essential support for various guest activities across the property. They ensure guests are well-informed about recreation options, including pools, beaches, gaming zones, fitness centers, and child activity centers, encouraging participation and creating enjoyable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Inform guests regarding available recreational facilities and services.
- Invite and register guests for recreational events and activities.
- Maintain a welcoming and enjoyable environment to foster guest relaxation and fun.
- Enforce facility rules to promote safety and well-being of guests and members.
- Monitor recreational activities and respond promptly and appropriately during emergencies according to established procedures.
- Handle cashier duties for any facility-related point of sale transactions.
- Assist in hosting group activities and private functions within recreation spaces.
- Identify situations where participation may not be safe and notify supervisors accordingly.
- Provide first aid and assist injured guests until medical personnel arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of recreational equipment and areas.
- Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and complete safety-related training and certifications.
- Comply with company policies, ensure personal grooming standards, protect company information, and assets.
- Greet and assist guests courteously, including those with disabilities, and ensure high service standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally both in person and by phone.
- Support colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain positive work relationships.
- Operate computers and point of sale systems for processing transactions and managing work information.
- Perform physical tasks, including moving equipment, navigating various terrains, and maintaining manual dexterity and mobility as required.
- Fulfill any additional reasonable duties as requested by management.
Qualifications and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
- No prior work experience required.
- No supervisory experience needed.
- Must hold valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Certifications or trainings mandated by local and state regulatory agencies regarding recreational equipment are required.
