Role Overview

We are offering an exciting entry-level position at our Auckland warehouse as a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be integral in our Onsite Solutions team, responsible for the receipt, handling, sorting, scanning, and dispatch of warehouse goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, scan, sort, and shelve incoming merchandise
  • Manage coordination and tracking of container and vehicle loading/unloading activities for inbound and outbound goods
  • Use computer systems to monitor stock quantities and locations
  • Organize daily workflow within the warehouse environment
  • Ensure security of the physical operating environment and support procedures for accurate stock tracking
  • Identify and suggest continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet organizational objectives
  • Foster a positive and proactive team culture

Candidate Requirements

  • Some prior experience or knowledge in warehousing, logistics, or distribution is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills to complete tasks promptly
  • Physical resilience to handle active tasks involving moving equipment, boxes, pallets, and picking and packing items in a busy environment
  • Comfortable with lifting and manual handling duties
  • Proficiency in using computers and quick adaptability to new systems such as inventory and scanning tools
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially when dealing with technical equipment and stock
  • Previous exposure to fast-paced retail, hospitality, or warehouse environments (e.g., NZ Post, Bunnings, Kmart, supermarkets) is advantageous
  • Interest or familiarity with technology or computer hardware is a plus, particularly in PC gaming
  • Reliable, well-organized, and capable of maintaining performance under pressure
  • Possession of a valid forklift license is mandatory
