About the Role
The research lab at the Lübeck site is integral to the recruitment, sample processing, measurements, and phenotyping of the ALLIANCE long-term cohort (All Age Asthma Cohort) under the German Center for Lung Research (DZL). The Section for Pediatric Pneumology & Allergology at UKSH Campus Lübeck recruits pediatric and adolescent asthma patients alongside healthy controls. This project aims to advance precision medicine targeting asthma's heterogeneity by leveraging detailed clinical and molecular assessments. Focus areas encompass infection, epigenetics, and early lung function deterioration mechanisms, with future plans to apply methods to lung carcinoma samples.
This role will initially extend until December 31, 2027, with a possibility of continuation.
