Their flagship product, Effie, merges linguistic technology with machine learning to offer deep insights and user data control. Effie employs generative AI to produce engaging, interactive chatbots that facilitate services like triage, appointment scheduling, smooth integrations, and ensure privacy compliance. The platform is developed primarily using ReactJS, Python, and FastAPI.
Role Overview
DataSpeckle is looking for a driven Junior Frontend Engineer to join their forward-thinking team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to craft new functionalities and improve the platform's user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the development team to design and implement new features and platform improvements.
- Create intuitive user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technologies.
- Partner with machine learning engineers to embed AI-driven features within the frontend.
- Verify UI/UX design feasibility and enhance app performance for speed and scalability.
- Conduct peer code reviews to maintain quality and sustainable codebases.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to interpret user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Remain current with trends and best practices in frontend development.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and user guides relevant to a cutting-edge software product.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in frontend tools and languages like ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with backend programming languages and frameworks such as Python and FastAPI is advantageous.
- Ability to design appealing and user-friendly interface layouts.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and working in agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and thoroughness.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate well.
- Must qualify for eligibility under IRAP programs, specifically the IRAP Young Graduates Program.
