Your Role

As a Junior Backend Engineer, you will contribute to expanding our AdTech platform by designing scalable, high-performing web applications. Collaboration across teams is key as you help serve millions of users.

Technical Environment

• Primary languages and frameworks: TypeScript, NestJS, Jest
• Communication protocols: GraphQL, REST, gRPC, WebSockets
• Databases and data stores: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery
• Messaging systems: RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub
• DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD
• Monitoring tools: Datadog

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Integrate external services to enable A/B testing and feature flag management, building a data-driven product.
• Deliver well-tested, high-quality code swiftly to ensure system reliability.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Copilot regularly to enhance your workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in web development.
• Solid understanding of designing and maintaining scalable systems.
• Hands-on production experience with major components of the outlined tech stack.
• Strong ownership mentality to manage and own deliverables.
• Fluent English communication skills for effective teamwork.

Preferred Background

• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
