Role Responsibilities and Requirements
The role requires robust programming capabilities in Java and Python, emphasizing object-oriented design. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Java frameworks including DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate, along with familiarity in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. Proficiency in testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Mockito is essential.
Additional technical expertise includes building stream-processing systems using Hadoop and Spark, working knowledge of distributed storage systems like Cassandra, MongoDB, and JanusGraph, and familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ. Experience with caching technologies like Hazelcast, Redis, or MemCache, and build tools like Maven or Gradle is required. Candidates should have exposure to Unix/Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines with Git.
Soft skills are equally important, with an emphasis on strong communication abilities for collaboration with globally dispersed teams. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple ongoing projects independently and as part of a team, analyze and convey complex ideas effectively, and have thorough knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
