Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Officer based in Australia to join our team full-time, providing remote technical support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about delivering efficient technology assistance in a dynamic environment and enjoys assisting users with IT issues.
Key Duties
- Deliver first-level support related to hardware, software, and networking problems.
- Identify and resolve IT issues promptly, ensuring user satisfaction.
- Install, set up, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and corporate applications.
- Handle user account administration, including access control and password management.
- Monitor system efficiency and aid with regular maintenance and software updates.
- Keep detailed records of support tickets, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions implemented.
- Work collaboratively with different teams to address more complex technical challenges.
- Assist in refining IT support workflows to improve the user experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Foundational understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking basics.
- Experience or familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace environments.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT troubleshooting and technical support.
- Basic comprehension of cloud technologies and cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Capability to manage priorities and work well within a team setting.
