IT Support Officer - Australia Only (Remote, Entry-Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented IT Support Officer to join our team full-time in a remote capacity. This position is exclusively open to candidates authorized to work in Australia. The role is designed for individuals at the entry or junior level who are enthusiastic about technology and eager to assist users in resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-tier technical assistance for hardware, software, and system-related challenges.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify problems related to operating systems, business applications, printers, and network access.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, password resets, and access permissions.
• Document, prioritize, and address support requests using the IT ticketing system.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as software upgrades and security evaluations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance IT service quality and improve user satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 suites.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware components, networking, and IT support methodologies.
• Familiarity with operating systems, common enterprise software, and elementary cybersecurity principles.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
