About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Controller responsible for managing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), maintaining comprehensive stock records, and overseeing daily inventory handling. The candidate will ensure precise inventory documentation and collaborate with warehouse and purchase departments to enable efficient material flow.
Key Duties
- Generate and keep up-to-date Goods Receipt Notes for all received materials.
- Cross-check materials against purchase orders and delivery invoices.
- Update stock information regularly using ERP, Excel, or other inventory software.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory ledgers.
- Conduct stock reconciliations and support regular physical stock audits.
- Notify management regarding any shortages, damages, or inconsistencies in stock.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to manage inventory-related paperwork.
- Organize and file GRNs, inward/outward logs, and inventory documentation appropriately.
- Guarantee inventory precision and compliance with company policies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of inventory and warehouse workflows.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other computer applications.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software is beneficial.
- Strong aptitude for numeracy and record maintenance.
- Detail-focused with the capability to operate autonomously.
Educational qualification includes graduates or diploma holders in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines. Fresh graduates with robust computer skills are welcomed to apply.
