About the Role
This opportunity is for an Instructional Designer at Nebius Academy based in Germany, focusing on designing educational content related to AI and cloud technologies for a worldwide learner base. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and production teams to deliver impactful, scalable digital learning experiences that simplify advanced AI and cloud topics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct learning needs analysis and collaborate on course design with product managers and experts.
- Develop clear learning objectives and organize courses into structured modules and lessons.
- Convert technical materials into accessible and engaging educational content.
- Create practical exercises, assessments, and supplementary learning resources that boost knowledge retention.
- Work with production teams to produce visual and multimedia educational assets.
- Review and enhance existing courses by assessing cognitive load, difficulty, and alignment with goals.
- Incorporate learner feedback and expert inputs for continuous course quality improvement.
- Customize learning materials for varied audiences including onboarding, professional training, and certification tracks.
- Maintain thorough documentation, manage improvement backlogs, and optimize content development processes.
- Utilize modern instructional design methodologies and AI-powered tools to increase content creation efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in instructional or learning design roles.
- Proven ability to develop educational content on technical subjects like software engineering, data science, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of digital learning frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experienced in producing varied content formats including written materials, videos, exercises, and assessments.
- Skilled in simplifying complex technical concepts into engaging and clear educational experiences.
- Proficient with modern content design tools such as Figma, HeyGen, and Supademo or equivalents.
- Experience leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT for research, content creation, and instructional design with critical quality review.
- Excellent command of English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing customer education or software training programs.
- Familiarity with certification course development for cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
