Position Overview

The Income Auditor role serves a cluster responsibility covering both METT Singapore and SUSHISAMBA outlets, focusing on financial accuracy and compliance within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter verified financial data into accounting systems with accurate transaction coding and classification.
• Conduct cash audits by reconciling cash receipts against sales reports, ensuring adherence to cash handling policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing schedules related to ledger accounts.
• Reconcile multiple payment forms such as cash, credit cards, city ledger accounts, Stripe payments, and advances for accuracy and completeness.
• Detect, investigate, and document any discrepancies, irregular transactions, potential errors, or fraud for management review.
• Generate and deliver daily and monthly income and revenue reports to management.
• Propose and implement improvements to income audit procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in bookkeeping covering fundamental accounting concepts like journal entries, debits and credits, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• High attention to detail with the capability to carefully scrutinize large data sets to uncover minor inconsistencies.
• Analytical aptitude to assess financial data for trends, irregularities, and potential issues.
• Competent in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Knowledge of applicable financial regulations and internal control standards.
