About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous Background Screening Representative to join our Workforce Screening team on a contract basis located in Alpharetta, GA. This position involves managing pre-employment background checks for employees and contingent staff, supporting compliance and HR operations in a dynamic and confidential atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee background screening cases ensuring all are finalized before new hire start dates.
  • Communicate with candidates about verification requirements related to employment and education.
  • Examine screening reports and investigate any inconsistencies raised by vendors.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and compile necessary documentation.
  • Report any adverse screening findings to internal departments including HR, Compliance, and Employment Law.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to expedite case completion.
  • Keep precise records ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies and legal regulations.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in background screening, HR activities, case management, or an equivalent operational role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive information with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, as well as database management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical problem-solving, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
