Human Resource Officer

Role overview

SPEMOCEAN is hiring a Human Resource Officer in Singapore for a full-time, onsite position. The role covers core HR operations, recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle administration, and support for internal compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the onboarding process for new employees, including coordination with HR subcontractors and preparation of employment documents such as labor contracts, confidentiality agreements, business conduct codes, and other required attachments aligned with local regulations and internal company needs.
• Oversee contract renewal activities, including arranging signing sessions and tracking completion.
• Administer employee exits and related termination processes.
• Maintain document filing and archive room organization.
• Manage attendance records and prepare monthly attendance-related reports.
• Assist with internal audit preparation and follow up on audit outcomes.
• Act as a link between employees and HR for certification signatures, company stamps, and similar coordination tasks.
• Support matters related to social insurance and housing fund administration.
• Support recruitment activities such as job posting, sourcing candidates, arranging interviews, and coordinating with vendors.
• Contribute to or lead process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare statistical reports covering vacancies, CVs, interviews, onboarding numbers, and related HR data.
• Take on other onsite duties and projects as assigned.

Experience and technical expectations

• The role requires at least 5 years of solid HR experience, ideally within the oil and gas sector.
• Hands-on and recent exposure to offshore oil and gas projects is required.
