Overview
The HSE Officer (Management Trainee) will be responsible for reviewing operational processes and essential documentation related to health, safety, and environment (HSE). The role involves conducting thorough incident investigations and recommending corrective measures. The officer is also tasked with overseeing and managing firefighting and oil pollution response activities, while providing advisory support to the project management team to ensure HSE objectives are met. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor key work processes and documentation for HSE compliance.
- Perform incident investigations and suggest corrective actions for implementation.
- Supervise firefighting efforts and control oil spill responses.
- Provide guidance and support to project management in meeting HSE targets and goals.
- Undertake other assigned duties related to the role.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Diploma in Engineering or in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)-related fields is preferred.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
- Capability to function accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
