Housekeeper

Job Overview

This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms to surpass guest expectations in comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect assigned rooms as allocated by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Conduct inventory checks with residents during check-in and check-out.
• Maintain cleanliness, ensure proper placement of amenities and literature according to standards and procedures.
• Report any lost or damaged items including linens, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and maintenance issues to the supervisor or Engineering Department.
• Assist in training outsourced room attendants on housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Supervise assigned outsourced room attendants’ performance.
• Provide operational support daily.
• Restock supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, and bathroom necessities.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment remains functional.
• Respond promptly to residents' requests.
• Assist with monthly linen inventories in designated areas.
• Update the status of apartments and hotel rooms accordingly.
• Manage storage and distribution of linens and uniforms.
• Oversee laundry contractors to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and timelines.
• Sort, count, and document linens and soiled items.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and usability.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum education level of higher secondary school.
• At least one year of experience in housekeeping roles.
• Capable of working independently while upholding high standards.
• Able to follow directions accurately.
• Strong customer service orientation along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
