Housekeeper

Overview

This role requires at least one year but less than two years of experience with no formal educational requirements. Work is strictly on-site in a rural setting, specifically at Amsterdam Inn & Suites in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Dust furniture thoroughly to prevent allergens and dirt build-up.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to preserve upkeep and hygiene.
• Make beds and replace sheets ensuring guest comfort.
• Distribute fresh towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
• Restock linen closets timely and efficiently.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Disinfect operating and other designated rooms for safety.
• Sanitize elevators and common areas as required.
• Manage lost and found items by reporting and handling them appropriately.
• Respond promptly to guests’ requests for additional supplies or items.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
• Launder clothing and household linens maintaining quality standards.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning windows, walls, ceilings, changing rooms, and showers.
