Located in Weston-super-Mare near the seafront, Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is housed in a charming Victorian townhouse. It supports up to 43 residents, offering high-standard nursing, respite, and palliative care within a warm, collaborative environment where staff can foster meaningful relationships and create positive daily impacts.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a contract basis to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere in a specialist complex care setting. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces to ensure high levels of hygiene and presentation. In addition, you will support laundry services by washing, drying, ironing, and returning clothing with proper labeling and care.

Working closely with the care team, you will adhere to infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping protocols to perform tasks safely and effectively. Your efforts will help create a well-organized, hygienic, and comfortable environment that respects and supports the individuals we care for.

Compensation and Contract Details

• Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
• Contracted hours: 37.5 per week
• Benefits include DBS paid by employer, pension scheme, and uniform provided
• Annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks (full-time basis)
