Hospitality Traineeship

About the Role

This traineeship opportunity is designed to immerse candidates in the hospitality industry, specifically supporting the front office and guest services operations. The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences throughout their stay while aiding multiple hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the front desk team during guest arrival and departure formalities.
• Provide professional and courteous greetings and responses to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and politely.
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
• Help set up and maintain meeting rooms, banquet halls, and event setups.
• Ensure public and service areas are clean and well organized.
• Perform administrative duties such as data entry, documentation, and maintaining records.
• Support event coordination and daily hotel operations as needed.
• Comply with all company standards related to hygiene, safety, security, and service quality.
• Gain holistic knowledge of hotel departments to contribute positively to guest experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hospitality, tourism, or culinary fields.
• Age between 18 and 34 years.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of hospitality practices and guest service standards is beneficial.
• Comfortable using MS Office suite, email, and basic computer functionality.
• Able to perform efficiently in a fast-moving, multitasking environment.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• A keen intent to learn, develop, and progress within the hospitality sector.

Compensation

The position offers a stipend between 35,000 and 40,000 INR monthly.
