Primary Duties
- Understand and clearly communicate the variety of towing options U-Haul provides
- Advise customers and install appropriate tow packages on their vehicles
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development through U-Haul University programs
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience with basic wiring and usage of hand and power tools
- High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The job entails moderate hazards requiring adherence to safety protocols, such as handling moving machine parts, exposure to fumes or chemicals, and mandatory use of protective gear like masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physically, the role demands exertion including prolonged indoor and outdoor standing, navigating various spaces, reaching and using tools, and lifting or assisting in moving items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
