Role Overview

The Head of Therapy Services is pivotal within the Allied Professional Hub, responsible for guiding the strategic operations and management of therapy services at Rainbow Centre’s Early Intervention or Special Schools. This role leads a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychologists while collaborating closely with the Director of the Allied Professional Hub to execute strategic initiatives, uphold service quality, oversee resource management, and foster productive partnerships to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate departmental work plans aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols ensuring compliance with standards, performance benchmarks, and program guidelines.

  • Lead the Allied Professional Team to promote collaborative, person-centred, and family-focused therapeutic planning and interventions alongside the teaching staff.

  • Work with case managers and senior educators to schedule case reviews and coordinate timely assessments, planning, and follow-ups.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Possess a recognised degree or Master’s in a relevant discipline.
  • Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or Singapore Psychological Society.
  • Have a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in allied professions serving individuals with disabilities, including at least 5 years within a special education (SPED) context.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in program administration and team leadership.
