Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Handyman position is based in the Greater Sydney Area. The role involves performing diverse maintenance and repair duties across commercial properties, including minor carpentry, painting, plastering, and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying issues and completing both scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining safe and tidy work environments.
• Providing progress updates and raising concerns to project managers.
• Coordinating with other trades as necessary.
• Using tools and equipment properly in adherence to safety protocols.
• Offering courteous and professional service to clients.
• Traveling between multiple job sites in Greater Sydney as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Strong skills in general maintenance, including basic carpentry work, painting, plaster repairs, and minor plumbing or electrical tasks.
• Experience handling tools, materials, and equipment typical in construction and building maintenance.
• Aptitude for reading and following job instructions, work orders, and simple diagrams or plans.
• Commitment to safe work practices with understanding of WHS guidelines and maintaining clean, organized workspaces.
• Good communication capabilities and customer-service orientation for professional interactions with clients and site teams.
• Demonstrated reliability, effective time management, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a small team.
• Relevant trade or handyman experience; holding formal trade qualifications or certificates (e.g., carpentry, building, maintenance) is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capacity to travel between different job locations within Greater Sydney.
