About the role
This role sits within a global AI community that supports the creation, improvement, translation, and localization of content used to train machine learning models. The work is performed online from home and is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with research, and familiar with national and local geography.
The assignment focuses on improving the quality and usefulness of digital maps used by people around the world. You will complete web-based research and evaluation work, compare information, and judge how accurate and relevant different data points are.
What you will do
- Contribute to a project aimed at refining the accuracy and quality of digital map content.
- Carry out online research and evaluation tasks in a web-based setting.
- Check, compare, and validate information to assess whether it is relevant and correct.
- Support tasks across multiple content types as needed, including maps, news, audio-related work, and relevance checks.
Assessment and selection
Applicants do not need prior professional experience for this opportunity. Selection is based on meeting the basic criteria and completing a standard qualification process. This includes an open-book exam and ID verification. Study materials and guidelines will be shared in advance, and the exam can be completed within a specified timeframe at the applicant’s convenience.
This is a long-term part-time project, and work quality will be reviewed through standard quality assurance checks during the assignment.
Working conditions
The role is fully remote and offers flexible work-from-home engagement with no fixed schedule. However, candidates must be available to work from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Indian Standard Time because the company operates outside India.
