Job Overview
Join Hilton's dynamic Hotels team as a Groups & Events Coordinator, where your role will focus on supporting the Groups, Meeting & Events department through comprehensive administrative and customer service tasks. Your efforts will not only aid in event delivery and sales development but also create warm, memorable hospitality experiences for every client and guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all stages of group and event inquiries, from initial contact to successful event execution, ensuring meticulous planning and flawless detail management.
- Develop and maintain essential event documentation such as event orders, contracts, and function sheets, guaranteeing accuracy across all bookings.
- Provide personalized service that enhances client satisfaction and delivers exceptional guest experiences at each phase of the event process.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure smooth and effective event coordination and delivery.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue through strategic upselling of event packages, catering, accommodation, and venue services.
- Proactively convert enquiries into confirmed event bookings, fostering new business and encouraging repeat clients.
- Oversee financial operations related to events, including deposit management, invoicing, and payment follow-up, while adhering to hotel protocols.
- Maintain precise sales, client, and event records within hotel's management systems and databases.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor actions, and guest preferences to support continuous business development and innovation.
- Monitor customer feedback, address issues professionally, and promote service improvement initiatives to enhance event success.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum one year’s experience in hotel sales administration or coordination is preferred.
- Educational background with a diploma or degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Experience in customer service, event coordination, or marketing is advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced in using hotel or event management software platforms.
- Creative with keen attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and skilled at problem solving with a positive attitude.
