About the Role
The Global HR Business Partner will act as a strategic collaborator with employees and leaders spanning Corporate and Global Functions such as Sales-Commercial, Marketing, SCM, Finance, Legal, and enabling teams. This role encompasses guiding workforce planning, talent development, leadership growth, culture cultivation, and implementing enterprise-wide people initiatives within a complex, matrixed international environment. The ideal candidate will balance strategic insight, data-driven decisions, and hands-on execution, while leading corporate HR projects, transformation efforts, and managing change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual workforce planning aligning with business strategy, productivity, and growth objectives for Corporate and Global Functions.
- Oversee headcount governance and reporting using dashboards focusing on cost control through spans and layers, attrition control, hiring, and mobility management.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to Global Functional Heads and senior leadership, influencing decisions through business insights and data analysis.
- Manage complex stakeholder relations across multiple geographies and functions, ensuring alignment with global HR governance and programs.
- Own talent reviews, 9-box matrix assessments, succession planning, and facilitate internal mobility for corporate and global roles.
- Design and implement leadership development initiatives and capability-building programs for leaders and critical talent segments in collaboration with Global Centers of Excellence.
- Assess role readiness, identify development requirements, and coordinate targeted interventions such as coaching, mentoring, and learning pathways including functional academies and future skill development.
- Support business managers with objective setting, annual performance evaluations, rating calibration, performance development plans, and manage performance improvement plans as required.
- Lead and coordinate corporate and business-driven initiatives including organizational restructuring, role redesign, operating model reforms, and productivity enhancement programs.
- Act as program manager for cross-functional global initiatives, leading change management processes involving communication, leader enablement, risk mitigation, and progress tracking affecting CPHQ employees.
- Ensure a positive employee experience by managing grievances, overseeing engagement initiatives, and upholding employee relations standards compliant with local labor laws.
- Implement and enforce adherence to local HR policies, standards, tools, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Global shared services in employee data management, compliance, and policy execution through global HRIS systems.
- Provide strategic guidance on rewards and recognition programs to reinforce performance, accountability, and company values.
- Champion engagement initiatives such as new hire buddy and mentoring programs, skip level meetings, pulse surveys, employee focus groups, team events, and reward programs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree with an MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- 5 to 7 years progressive experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally supporting corporate or global functions.
- Strong expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, cost management, and workforce analytics.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and influence leadership decisions effectively.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented settings.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the capability to identify problems and deliver actionable solutions.
- Hands-on approach with consistent attention to employee engagement and workplace pulse.
