Role Overview

As the Global Cost and Operations Insights Lead within our Global Supply Chain team, you will transform complex supply chain data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. Reporting to the Supply Chain Strategy & Insights Manager, you will lead analyses around cost efficiency, operational performance, and provide essential support for strategic initiatives that foster Zespri's growth and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze intricate supply chain datasets to generate impactful insights facilitating enhanced business decisions.
• Lead comprehensive reporting and evaluation of cost-to-serve, quality costs, and operational performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce expenditures, and unlock value globally across the supply chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Sustainability, and Digital teams to address multifaceted business challenges.
• Steer strategic projects, develop business cases, and build models that support long-term growth objectives.
• Provide senior leadership with trusted insights, actionable recommendations, and performance reports.
• Foster a culture promoting ongoing improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of eight years' experience in commercial, supply chain, operations, or business analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, model development, and converting insights into pragmatic actions.
• Demonstrated success in leading projects that enhance operational processes or produce cost savings.
• High commercial awareness with an ability to balance detailed analysis and overarching strategic vision.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders within a global business setting.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex concepts in simple terms.
• Relevant tertiary education in fields such as Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
