Role Overview

We are seeking experienced General Operatives to support our ambitious project teams with various tasks essential to successful project delivery. The role involves collaboration, physical assistance, and adherence to strict safety standards within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting tradespeople in their tasks
• Ensuring availability of necessary materials
• Handling uncrating and weatherproofing of equipment
• Assisting with fabrication of pipework
• Helping with installation of pipework and bracketry
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of work areas
• Performing general housekeeping duties
• Transporting finished assets to storage locations
• Loading and unloading delivered goods
• Complying with risk and method statement briefings
• Following safe working practices during tasks
• Conducting equipment checks as required
• Ensuring workspace safety and organization
• Applying best working practices to maximize productivity
• Signing permits and attending briefings before starting tasks
• Completing additional reasonable tasks assigned by management

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a General Operative, preferably in construction
• Previous involvement in construction, industrial, or pharmaceutical projects
• Experience with pipework fabrication
• Knowledge of pipework and bracketry installation
• Maintains high housekeeping standards on site
• Adheres strictly to site safety regulations
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Dedicated to safety, quality, and teamwork principles

Qualifications

• Possession of Safe Pass certification
• Manual Handling certification required
