Role Overview
As a Gaming Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, installation, and verification of gaming machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards. This position involves delivering technical assistance, documenting service activities, and contributing to the enhancement of safety and maintenance procedures. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, verification, and repairs on gaming equipment and associated sub-components.
- Provide support for all service needs related to gaming machines.
- Interpret data recorded by gaming devices to facilitate troubleshooting.
- Manage the relocation and installation of gaming hardware.
- Offer technical expertise and consultancy as required.
- Operate shop tools safely and effectively, including hand tools, soldering gear, and electronic testing instruments, while preparing corresponding service documentation.
- Act as a company representative with relevant gambling regulatory bodies.
- Adhere strictly to organizational policies concerning technical operations.
- Contribute suggestions to optimize policies and procedures aimed at improving machine repair processes, safety standards, and equipment security.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar or technical role.
- Proficient with hardware tools and power equipment usage.
- Highly organized with effective communication capabilities.
- Meticulous and skilled at problem-solving.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including 8-hour shifts and weekends, to accommodate business demands.
- Conversational English proficiency.
