Role Summary
We are recruiting a Board Game Reasoning Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position. This role involves utilizing deep knowledge of board games, strategic reasoning, probability, and intricate rule sets to design, assess, and refine datasets that enhance AI capabilities. The specialist will be responsible for tasks involving game logic, strategic decision-making, and detailed scenario analysis to support AI training and evaluation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and assess reasoning tasks based on board games aimed at evaluating AI performance.
- Examine strategic board game scenarios, decision trees, and rules to ensure logical coherence.
- Review AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, and quality of reasoning applied.
- Create prompts, scoring rubrics, and comprehensive evaluation standards for strategy and game-based assignments.
- Detect logical inconsistencies, breaches of rules, and reasoning inaccuracies in AI-generated results.
Qualifications Required
- Holding at least a bachelor's degree in disciplines such as computer science, mathematics, game design, cognitive science, philosophy, or economics.
- Minimum two years’ practical or semi-professional involvement in board game design, playtesting, tabletop gaming communities, or similar strategic environments.
- Excellent command of logic, probabilistic reasoning, game mechanics, and complex rule structures.
- Educational or professional background in game theory, behavioral economics, decision science, or formal logic.
- Knowledge of recent board games, trading card games, tabletop RPGs, strategy games, and competitive gaming frameworks.
