Overview
This position as a Game Developer focuses on utilizing Java and the libGDX framework to build simple 2D game features for AI training purposes. The role involves creating high-quality interactive content that assists in training AI systems, requiring no prior AI experience but strong domain expertise in game development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance 2D game elements using Java and libGDX.
- Collaborate with AI team members to design game interactions and gather useful training data.
- Create core game mechanics including sprite handling, game loops, and user input processes.
- Identify and fix defects to maintain smooth performance and reliability of game components.
- Engage in code evaluations and propose improvements to coding practices.
- Produce clear documentation for development procedures and workflows to support cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain regular communication with colleagues to share project updates and gather feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of Java language and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with libGDX through academic projects, prototypes, or personal initiatives.
- Knowledge of basic game development concepts including game loops, sprite usage, and input management.
- Effective written and oral communication skills emphasizing technical clarity.
