Position Overview

Join Marriott International as a full-time Room Service Waitstaff member based in Lahaina, HI. This role focuses on maintaining hospitality standards through excellent guest service, room service preparation, and closing duties to ensure a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform closing tasks such as storing reusable goods, breaking down and cleaning equipment and areas, locking refrigerators and doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
• Set up, stock, and maintain organized work areas.
• Inspect cleanliness and appearance of china, glassware, and silverware before use.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout shifts by practicing clean-as-you-go protocols.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests warmly as per company standards and handle telephone communications professionally.
• Build positive relationships with team members, support shared goals, and respond appropriately to co-workers' concerns.
• Comply with quality expectations and standards consistently.
• Physically stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, operate on uneven or slippery surfaces, lift and move weights up to 50 pounds, and perform activities requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• No prior work or supervisory experience required
• No specific licenses or certifications needed; Hawaii liquor card is advantageous

Additional Information

The schedule varies according to operational needs. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.38 per hour and tips are eligible. This position is non-management.
