Role Overview
We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer proficient in HTML and CSS to join on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. The position involves creating and maintaining responsive user interfaces with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and faithful implementation of design specifications. Collaboration with design teams to convert mockups into functional and pixel-perfect front-end components is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain front-end elements using HTML, CSS, and associated technologies.
- Guarantee designs are responsive and compatible across various browsers and devices.
- Work closely with designers to translate UI mockups into accurate front-end features.
- Enhance front-end performance while adhering to accessibility guidelines.
- Engage in code reviews and share best practices among the development team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in HTML and CSS with solid knowledge of semantic markup standards.
- Experience applying responsive design concepts and mobile-first development strategies.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS, or utility frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Proficient in using browser developer tools for debugging issues.
- Capability to implement designs from applications like Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
