About the role
Pelican Agency, previously known as 5818 Digital, is a small creative studio based in Melbourne that works across strategic graphic design, digital design, branding, signage, and web design/development. The team is currently at full capacity and is looking for flexible creative support to help manage an increasing workload.
This opportunity is best suited to freelancers, contractors, or university students who want a casual side project to build experience alongside other work or study commitments. The workload is irregular, so this is not intended to be a full-time or part-time position.
What you may work on
- Print materials such as brochures, flyers, and catalogues
- Digital assets including animated graphics, email marketing creatives, and website banners
- Signage and event collateral such as pull-up banners, building signage, and vehicle wraps
- Brand identity and supporting materials such as business cards, letterheads, stationery, and branding projects
- Occasional web support, including WordPress and Elementor work, if you have that experience
What the agency is looking for
The agency is open-minded about background, availability, and hourly rate. They are not seeking someone with extensive years of experience or someone who can handle every task independently. Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills and a willingness to contribute to a growing team are the main priorities.
