Destec is a diverse mining contractor expanding rapidly with a client base focused on ore crushing, screening, and materials handling within the mining sector. The company excels by designing, building, maintaining, and operating its own crushing and screening plants at mining locations, delivering comprehensive ore processing and materials handling services throughout Western Australia.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Electricians skilled in maintaining both mobile and fixed crushing plant facilities, operating primarily in the Northern Goldfields region. The position emphasizes proactive preventative maintenance, alongside participating in upgrades and enhancements on existing infrastructure.
Employment Details
- This is a full-time salaried opportunity with a remuneration of $193125 per annum.
- Superannuation contributions are paid on all hours worked.
- The roster follows a 2 weeks on, 1 week off pattern, involving 7 days, 7 nights, then 7 days off.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a valid Western Australia Electrician Licence.
- Possess up-to-date First Aid, Low Voltage Rescue (LVR), and CPR certification.
- Have a current and valid driver's license.
- Hold a high-risk Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
- Possess qualifications for Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry.
- Demonstrate prior experience with fixed plant mining equipment and environments.
- Experience with crushing and screening plants will be considered highly advantageous.
