Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes for all entities, ensuring precision, timeliness, and ongoing improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team by establishing standards, enhancing skills, and fostering accountability and ownership.
  • Enhance and sustain a strong financial control environment in a complex multi-entity, multi-currency organization, including overseeing reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal reviews.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management reports, financial statements, and variance analyses for senior leadership and the board.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate tax and compliance responsibilities (including GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate regulations) with external advisors.
  • Collaborate with AR Operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and receivables integration into financial reporting.
  • Partner with FinOps and Systems to optimize ERP processes, system integration, and automation across financial technologies.
  • Support audit procedures and liaise with external auditors effectively.
  • Identify and implement process automation and improvements to enhance data integrity and scale finance operations efficiently.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Has at least 7 years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, or controllership, including minimum two years in a senior controller role.
  • Experience at a Big 4 firm combined with a background in SaaS or dynamic technology businesses is ideal.
  • Possesses advanced technical accounting knowledge of IFRS and has managed multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills, with a commitment to high standards.
