We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Industrials team in Frankfurt. This role offers a collegial yet entrepreneurial atmosphere where teamwork, creativity, and fresh ideas are highly valued. Financial Analysts at our firm handle a broad set of responsibilities and play a key role in business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and articulate historical and forecasted financial data.
- Develop financial models for various transaction types.
- Lead and coordinate thorough business due diligence processes.
- Create confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct in-depth research on industries, companies, and prospective buyers.
- Perform business and company valuations.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients, potential clients, and professional advisors.
- Support engagement planning and execution activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficiency in both German and English languages, verbal and written.
- A strong Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic credentials.
- At least one year of full-time experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is preferred; alternatively, experience in Transaction Services consulting or corporate development is acceptable.
- Proven involvement in executing sell-side transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.
- Solid analytical skills and understanding of accounting principles and financial theory.
- Expertise in analyzing financial statements, including identifying core assumptions and understanding inherent limitations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven capability to collaborate effectively within team environments.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while managing multiple projects efficiently.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset coupled with strong work ethics.
