Role Overview
The Finance Manager position is a full-time role requiring on-site presence in Doha, Qatar. This role entails overseeing daily financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing monthly and annual financial reports, tracking project expenditures, supervising accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining precise general ledger records. The manager will enforce financial controls, aid audits, ensure local regulation compliance, and collaborate with project teams and management to evaluate financial performance and assist decision-making. Additionally, the role involves enhancing financial processes, systems, and reporting aligned to real estate and construction activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting specific to real estate and construction sectors.
- Experienced in accounting, financial reporting, and managing cash flow.
- Capability to implement and uphold internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit preparations.
- Proficiency with financial software and spreadsheet tools; familiarity with ERP or finance systems used in construction is advantageous.
- Educational background including a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working cross-functionally and supporting senior management.
- Previous experience in the Gulf region’s real estate, construction, or project-driven industries is highly advantageous.
