Role overview
This is an urgent hiring requirement for a Field Sales Executive to join Paytm’s core growth team. The selected candidate will be employed directly on Paytm’s payroll and will focus on increasing the company’s merchant base by bringing local shops, retail counters, and other businesses onto the platform.
Responsibilities
- Visit neighbourhood markets and retail outlets to enroll new merchants.
- Set up Paytm QR code signage at merchant locations.
- Install, activate, and configure Paytm Soundboxes for business owners.
- Guide merchants on using Paytm devices and assist them with their questions.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with onboarded merchants.
Compensation and incentives
The role offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 21,000 to INR 45,000. In addition, strong weekly and monthly performance-based bonuses are available.
Employment and onboarding
Successful candidates will receive an official offer letter directly from Paytm. Payroll will also be handled by Paytm.
Requirements
- Candidates must have an Android smartphone.
- A two-wheeler such as a bike or scooter is required for the role.
