About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position based at our Citywest office in Dublin, with potential travel to various company sites depending on project requirements. The individual will provide SAP FI/CO expertise across Uniphar Group's technology projects, including S/4HANA implementations.
Responsibilities
- Represent and contribute SAP FI/CO knowledge in technology initiatives and projects
- Engage actively in workshops and collaborate with stakeholders
- Define and review requirements and WRICEF documents
- Create, review, and contribute to functional and technical design documentation
- Assist in preparation and review of configuration rationale documentation
- Participate in sprint demos delivery and validation
- Identify and support development of comprehensive test scenarios
- Engage in system integration and functional acceptance testing activities
- Support data migration related to SAP FI/CO modules
- Provide ongoing Business As Usual support as necessary
- Coordinate with specialists across various applications for cross-functional processes
- Liaise with software implementation partners, vendors, third-party experts, and business users
- Potential for some foreign travel depending on project needs
Candidate Profile and Key Outcomes

- Ability to convert functional needs into technical specifications effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO experience including design, implementation, rollouts, and ongoing support
- In-depth expertise in SAP FICO modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, New GL with document splitting, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Controlling (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA), preferably within logistics sector
- Proven skills in configuration and implementation of SAP Finance & Controlling
- Experience leading engagements with multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Exceptional presentation skills and ability to communicate strategies to varied audiences
- Preferred certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling
- Willingness to adopt new technologies and extend knowledge beyond SAP FI/CO scope
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with Fiori applications
- Previous involvement in SAP S/4HANA implementations on private cloud or hyperscalers
- Flexibility to travel to support project initiatives
- Familiarity with integration processes involving SD, MM, EWM, Vistex, and VIM
