F&B Service Expert

Position Overview

The role of an F&B Service Expert extends beyond simply serving food and drinks; it focuses on crafting a memorable and unique dining experience for guests. This involves tasks ranging from setting up tables and coordinating with kitchen staff to engaging with guests and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. Making each customer interaction feel integral to their overall experience is a key part of this position.

Primary Duties

• Prepare dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen personnel to coordinate service.
• Interact with guests to meet their dining needs and provide attentive service.
• Clean and organize workspaces and supplies to uphold hygiene standards.
• Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and maintain quality standards.
• Present a professional appearance and communication style at all times.
• Physically stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods and navigate varied floor conditions.
• Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
• Handle light to moderate physical tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance, including reaching and bending motions.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction and business operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of relevant work experience preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications needed.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar at the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts on Al Corniche Street. The role is full-time and requires onsite presence as remote work is not an option.
