Role Overview: Experienced IT Auditor
As an experienced IT Auditor, you will conduct assurance and testing tasks across a varied client portfolio, primarily in the Financial Services Industry. This role requires close collaboration with different engagement teams and managers, encouraging rapid teamwork and exposure to diverse audit tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client business processes alongside financial audit teams to determine the scope for IT audit procedures such as tests on automated controls, data analyses, and further audit activities addressing financial audit risks.
- Develop and communicate IT Audit plans, budgets, and timelines to the IT Audit Manager.
- Conduct fieldwork including IT risk assessments, tests of automated/application and general IT controls, interface controls, system-generated report evaluations, risk mitigation techniques, and prepare related reports.
- Identify and appraise IT risks and their potential impacts related to audit issues.
- Effectively communicate findings and concerns during engagements to senior management and client representatives.
- Compose clear and concise written reports highlighting observations and recommendations.
- Foster and maintain constructive working relationships with client personnel.

Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in professional services with IT external/internal audit exposure.
- Solid expertise in auditing methods and computer control environments within Financial Services Industry.
- Proficiency in planning and managing fieldwork to adhere to project specifications and deadlines.
- Hands-on experience testing IT general controls over applications, operating systems, databases, and system-generated reports.
- Strong capability in grasping business processes and testing automated application controls.
- Experience performing risk mitigation including identifying and validating mitigating and compensating controls.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented approach, and commitment to delivering measurable results.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as required to fulfill client commitments and organizational priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and foundational data analysis techniques.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Capacity to perform thorough research as needed.
