Role Overview
This position is based in Mumbai and involves extensive responsibilities within the Chemicals sector, focusing on environmental health and safety (EHS) operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), waste management, and associated environmental facilities.
- Assist the Manager EHS to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legal obligations.
- Conduct environmental monitoring both internally and externally according to established schedules.
- Collaborate with the Manager EHS to meet Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and uphold sustainability objectives.
- Support CSR initiatives focused on water conservation, facilitating the organization's goal of achieving water neutrality.
- Help maintain 5S organizational standards within the workplace under Manager EHS guidance.
- Contribute to sustaining a safe working environment.
- Assist in the timely execution and closing of environmental capital expenditure projects.
