Position Overview
This role involves managing various accounting functions including the entry and reconciliation of store cash, sales, petty cash, fixed assets, event sales, and other relevant accounting records.
Key Duties
- Ensure all DSS and petty cash entries are made accurately and promptly, including sales reconciliation and verification within deadlines.
- Authenticate and verify incentives paid to store personnel.
- Handle entries and reconciliation for store credit card transactions.
- Review and audit other administrative expenses, predominantly store-related costs such as utilities (water, electricity, telephone), petty cash, and appropriately provision amounts for Management Information System (MIS) purposes.
- Record provisions monthly and ensure timely reversal of month-end entries.
