Enterprise Data & AI Architect

About the Role

Durapid Technologies is collaborating with a major airline enterprise to develop innovative, cloud-first intelligent data platforms. We seek an experienced Enterprise Data & AI Architect to guide company-wide data strategies, AI innovation, and cloud transformation initiatives, based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and implementation of enterprise data and AI strategies.
• Design Azure Data Platform solutions and Lakehouse architectures.
• Develop Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and Agentic AI applications.
• Oversee enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
• Drive cloud modernization and digital transformation projects.
• Ensure secure integration and develop robust API architectures.
• Provide leadership and engage with executive stakeholders on technology directions.

Technologies Utilized

• Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Azure Databricks for big data processing.
• Azure OpenAI for AI services.
• Azure Data Factory for data integration workflows.
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Delta Lake for storage and data management.
• Unity Catalog for data governance.
• Azure AI Search to enhance information retrieval.
• Cosmos DB for globally distributed databases.
• Event Hubs & Service Bus for event-driven architectures.
• Semantic Kernel and MLflow for machine learning lifecycle management.
• MLOps and LLMOps practices.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Airlines and aviation sectors.
• Travel and hospitality industries.
• Transportation services.
• Large-scale enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Additional Expertise

Experience with Passenger Service Systems (PSS), Amadeus Altea platform, customer experience systems, revenue management, loyalty program integration, cargo management, and digital commerce is highly advantageous.

Preferred Certifications

• TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
• SAFe Architect or SAFe Agilist certifications.
• Microsoft Azure certifications in Data, AI, and Cloud technologies.
