Embedded Systems Engineer

About the Role

We seek a passionate engineer eager to develop products entirely from the ground up. This position involves comprehensive development of industrial embedded systems encompassing firmware, hardware, wireless communication, and rigorous product testing. This is a creation-focused role, not maintenance, where the outputs will be deployed in actual manufacturing environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Design embedded systems utilizing ESP32 and STM32 platforms.
• Develop firmware primarily in Embedded C and C++.
• Create PCB layouts using tools such as EasyEDA, KiCad, or Altium.
• Integrate various components including sensors, ADCs, displays, and relays.
• Implement wireless communication protocols including WiFi, Bluetooth Low Energy, and MQTT.
• Perform hardware debugging and troubleshoot using instruments like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Lead prototype development and conduct thorough product testing and validation.
• Maintain detailed documentation and version control through Git.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth transition of products to manufacturing.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Embedded C programming.
• Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with STM32 series is preferred.
• Understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Knowledge of ADC, PWM, and PCB design principles.
• Skilled in hardware debugging tools including multimeter and oscilloscope usage.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with FreeRTOS operating system.
• Knowledge of MQTT protocol and Firebase platform.
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi communication skills.
• Understanding of CAN, Modbus, and RS485 protocols.
• Basic Python programming for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Git version control system.
